Shout! Factory Films is proud to debut the official trailer for Beauty and the Beast (La Belle et La Bete) which is a modern-day live-action epic retelling fantasy adventure by Christophe Gans starring Vincent Cassel, as the Beast and Lea Seydoux, as Belle.

Rated PG-13 and opening in the U.S nationwide September 23, 2016, the story will start in the year 1810 with a financially-ruined merchant (André Dussollier, playing Belle’s Father) exiling himself in the countryside with his six children.

Among them is Belle, a joyful girl full of grace. One day, during an arduous journey, the merchant stumbles across the magical domain of the Beast, who sentences him to death for stealing a rose.

And we all the know the rest of the story, but I think this film will not disappoint, as foreign talent seems to have much more passion to me.

The film will be in French with English subtitles.

You can also get a real life version of the rose here.
