The Oscars are on March 4th and if you’re anything like me, and trying to play catch up and squeeze in some Oscar-nominated films before the award show takes place, you may be able to do so at your local theater.Nominees Get Out and Dunkirk are other returning to theaters ahead of the Oscars, so fans of the film and newcomers once again have the chance to enjoy them on the big screen. It’s been almost a year since Jordan Peele’s horror flick opened in theaters. Get Out debuted on February 24 and was a massive box office success up until the end of its run in July. Dunkirk was released July 21 and left theaters in November. Starting Friday, both of the films will return to select theaters nationwide.

After being snubbed and miscategorized at the Golden Globes, Get Out racked up four nominations for the 2018 Oscars including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Actor. Dunkirk snatched eight nominations for Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and others.

AMC Theaters will also be hosting best picture showcases on February 23 and March 3. These events will allow viewers to watch all the Best Picture-nominated films during a 24-hour movie marathon or over the course of two Saturdays. Starting Monday, AMC will be screening all nine Best Picture nominees at 500 locations nationwide.
