This kid got tired of using the "dog ate my homework" excuse

Everyone’s heard the age-old exuse that “My dog ate my homework”, but this kid took his excuse for growing weed in his home to a whole new level, when the cops finally came knoking on his door.

After sheriff’s deputies received an anonymous complaint that Oulay Inthaphone, pictured, was growing marijuana at his home, they paid a visit to the St. Lucie, FL man yesterday.

Inthaphone initially claimed the plant was “part of a school project,” but soon admitted the herb was the illegal kind, according to the arrest report. Inthaphone, 26, was also in the possession of rolled pot cigarettes, ecstasy pills and a pipe, deputies said. Authorities didn’t buy the chronic for class excuse and Inthaphone now faces a felony charge for drug cultivation and two for possession.
