The last time I checked, California was in trouble financially.  Anytime a state has to issue you an I.O.U. instead of a tax refund, you know that state has some problems.  Luckily for them, MJ called California home and it seems that he may be coming to their rescue even after death.

When Michael passed he left some property behind that the state may use to help funnel some much needed funds into the state.  That propert is the infamous Neverlan Ranch.

A resolution is in the works that has state park officials examining whether the 2,600-plus acre estate could in fact be converted in to an attraction, that could result in profitable revenue for the cash-strapped state.

The plan to convert the property is being rallied by California Assemblyman Mike Davis and the state’s NAACP. Davis firmly believes that the Santa Barbara County estate would draw millions of visitors from around the globe. California’s NAACP President Alice Huffman, who is also on the board of the state’s parks commission, says, “I think Michael’s history is world history, and I think it would become the No. 1 attraction for the state parks if we could pull it off.”
