I love me some Beyonce. I really do. But this has got to be one of the most riduculus statements that I have ever heard her say. She wants to play the super hero in a potential upcoming flick about the first lady of DC comics. Beyonce even goes as far to contact DC comics to let them know of her interest to play the role if there were ever a movie made.
The LA Times reports the singer has already met with reps from DC Comics about starring in the flick, due out in 2011. “A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?” she says. Knowles, who once pranced around in her underwear in an “Austin Powers” picture, has her work cut out for her if she hopes to squeeze into Lynda Carter’s iconic red, white and blue bathing suit. “I would definitely have to keep it right for that costume,” she says.
Now we all know that Beyonce looks good in tights, so I guess she has the look down pact, but I just don’t know about this one.
Note to Beyonce: Please prove to us that you can play something else than a singer before you start to make ridiculus demands.
Second Note to Beyonce: I’ll be more than happy to cast you in any one of my upcoming films.
