Mickey Mouse and Spider-Man became buddies yesterday when Disney, the company that brought us Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck among others, bought and acquired Marvel yesterday.
This $4.24 Billion acquisition gives Disney Marvel’s entire lineup which includes Spider-Man, X-Men, Iron Man, and whole slew of superheroes that Disney could possibly use as themes for their amusement parks eventually. And gives them more creative control over the superhero characters.
