Flavor Flav is being sued because he owes one of the mothers of his children over 63K in child support payments. $63,458 to be exact. How in the hell does Child Support let the bill get so high?
According to the Albany County Child Support Collection Division, Mary Parker, mother to 3 of Flav’s children, had an agreement in place since 1996 that covered the former couple’s two children at the time. However, Parker moved to have the agreement amended in July 2008 after the birth of a third child.
She was successful with an appeal last month, and a judge ordered Flavor Flav’s weekly payment of $117 increased to $837.72, along with requirements to cover private school tuition fees dating back to the original 2008 amendment filing.
Based on the success of the Flavor of Love shows and its spinoffs, you would assume that $837/week would be pretty fare for 3 children. It’s not like he’s paying Diddy or Nas money. SMH…Flav got to get his ish together.
