This will definitely make me be more cautious when I open up my next can of Chef Boyardee for lunch. May even be enough for me to give up on the tasty treat forever.
An Ohio woman has filed a complaint with the food company behind the Chef, after she says she went to feed her daughter and found a dead rat inside a can of spaghetti.
“I opened it up and my face was very close to it and immediately you could tell there was a dead rodent on top, in fact you couldn’t even see the spaghetti and meatballs at all,” said Jennifer Aker.
Akner then says she contacted the manufacturer of the product Con Agra Foods.
The company asked her to take a photo of the unknown substance and send it to them. She took it a step further and recorded a video that she uploaded to YouTube.
She also adds that she’s not looking for money but she wants to address the problem so it won’t happen again.
“I’m not looking for money, I’m just looking to let people be aware of this. It’s just really gross.”
Kudos to her for not seeking money from her ordeal. But I’m sure that some slick talking lawyers gearing up to make a run at her in hopes that she’ll change her mind.
