MJ either is starting to come down with Alzheimer’s or this is one of those kind of business moves where the product is so cheap, that regardless of the historical ramifications and toll that it has played on you, that the price is too good to pass up.
In other words MJ got sick a lot by eating Peanut Butter. He’s allergic to peanuts. But this time even though he knows he can’t thoroughly enjoy himself a delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwich, he finds a jar of peanut butter for a nickel on the grocer’s shelf and decides to buy it because he knows that a good jar of Skippy will never be found for a price like this.
That pretty much sums up the recent transaction of the MJ and the Charlotte Bobcats picking up Kwame Brown for a bargain basement price of $1.3 million dollars although I’m not too sure that Kwame’s even worth that amount.
Jordan was running the Washington Wizards in 2001 when he infamously took the 6-foot-11 Brown straight out of high school with the first pick. Kwame Brown has since been labeled a bust and MJ was labeled as another superstar player unfit to run a team.
Let’s just hope that the second time for them works out for the both of them as Kwame Brown desperately needs a job and Jordan needs some depth in the front court since trading Tyson Chandler away last month. We wish them both success.
