We always hear that men prefer brains over beauty, how true or false is this statement?
Brian (25): Depends. Body for now, brains for later.
Jackson (25): False. Not all men think that way. There are several men who are perfectly happy with beauty. Men are raised differently. There are some men who truly believe that a woman’s purpose is procreation and tending to the children. Yes, in 2011 there are men like that. In addition to that, you have men who are slaves to their possessions. That’s why you see so many people infatuated with what they have, instead of what they need. Those men are likely to date and deal with trophy wifeys and wives.
Drew (30): As in everything, balance is key. Be attractive, be able to hold a conversation. Be a good communicator.
Kevin (27): False to most extent. When guys are young and looking for a girlfriend, they care more about beauty and don’t give a crap about brain. When they are in the stage of looking for a wife, then they prefer a good mix of brains and beauty. It is hard to be with someone for the rest of your life without engaging or somewhat intellectual communication.
Rob (27): I’d have to say, for me at least, it’s true. I’m really bad at crosswords so I need my lady to have a brain.
Ike (24): If you are a dime and you are not motivated to graduate college it is hard for me to take you serious past a couple dates.
What main quality separates the “woman you’re just having fun with” from the “woman you bring home to the parents”?
Brian (25): Conduct. How she carries herself. In more ways than one.
Drew (30): Aligned goals. Similar visions for the lives we want to create. Similar value systems.
Kevin (27): The way they carry themselves in public, or their level of sophistication.
Rob (27): I think subconsciously we (guys) have some radar or over riding metric which which determines our “pride” factor in a girl. I think the main quality is that if you bring a girl home she has passed the subconscious “I’m proud of her” test.
Ike (24): Motivation and ambition. I once had a beautiful fun girl. She never met the family because she was unmotivated. Cant introduce the family to someone who works at Wet Seal, just does not fly in my family. . My family wants someone to push me. “Hi Dad, this is
Raquel. She is a Pharmacist”… is what my dad wants to hear.
At what point has a woman officially crossed the line from admirer to stalker?
Brian (25): Knowing too much about my Facebook statuses.
Jackson (25): Currently, on my second stalker right now. The point at which her advances are unwelcomed. That’s when it’s a stalker.
Drew (30): Consistent Texting without response. Showing up places they have no business being.
Ike (24): When girls ask the four W’s before she meets the family. WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHY.
