Kanye West fans on Twitter had their timelines filled up with design-oriented tweets from the rapper. Kanye, finally tweeted that he will launch a new design company called DONDA.

The company is named after the rapper’s late mother Donda West, and will bring together amazing thinkers in a creative space to share their ideas and dreams. Kanye posted, I am assembling a team of architects, graphic designers, directors’ musicians, producers, AnRs, writers, publicist, social media experts… I want to put creatives in a room together with like minds that are all waaaay doper than me.”
Kanye added, “DONDA will be comprised of over 22 divisions with a goal to make products and experiences that people want and can afford. We want to help simplify and aesthetically improve everything we see, hear, touch, taste and feel.”
The rapper posted a string of tweets listing or boasting about his fashion credentials. He said that he has been offered jobs by a couple of luxurious fashion design brands including Versace and Fendi; which he turned down because of he was working with Louis Vuitton at that time. The rapper also said that he had snuck into the Giuseppe Zanotti factory, where he picked up a thing or two about designing women’s shoes.
The rapper entertained fans with his tweets up until today at 6 am in the morning when he finally made the big announcement. Kanye is currently in London, one of the world’s fashion capitals; which could explain his sudden epiphany towards fashion.
