Today, which is March 8th, 2012, you are able to rent one free movie from any Redbox location.

We all can thank the customer who rented the movie “Drive” from a McDonalds in Philomath, Ore. for the free film.

That customer rented Redbox’s two billionth disc, and as a way to commemorate the occasion, they’re giving everyone a free rental.

The company wants you to “like” them on Facebook to get the promo code; however, we’ll just give it to you here. Punch in promo code “Thanks2U” at check out and voila.

However, make sure you still have your credit card handy. (They’ll still charge for fees for any disc returned late.)
