The latest in reality TV is said to include Clint Eastwood’s family. More specifically the show titled “Mrs. Eastwood & Company” will focus on Clint Eastwood’s wife, Dina, and her management of six-man South African a cappella group called “Overtone.” Also featured are Mr. Eastwood’s two daughters, 18-year- old Francesca and15-year-old Morgan. The 10 episode show is set to make a May 20 debut on E!.
“Nothing is more important to me than family, no matter how you define that. People might be surprised by how we live our lives and our unconventional approach, and I also believe that it’s hard not to fall in love with my band, ‘Overtone,'” Dina said in a released statement.
Will “Mrs. Eastwood & Company” be the good, the bad or the ugly? The show’s success remains to be seen but the it is said to have less fighting/drama than their reality show counterparts, although the inclusion of the daughter’s boyfriends is sure to bring on some teen drama to change the pace.
Clint Eastwood is a huge Hollywood star who rose to prominence in the 1960’s with his numerous tough-as-nails cowboy roles in western films and his surname attached to the show is sure to garner interest. Mr. Eastwood is also said to make appearances on the show as well, to what degree is presently unclear.
