Adrian Peterson Wins the MVP and Offensive Player of the Year

AP takes home the top individual prize of the NFL season to cap off his awesome comeback.


Adrian Peterson solidified his incredible comeback from major knee surgery by being named both the Associated Press 2012 Most Valuable Player and the Offensive Player of the Year. He single-handedly carried the 10-6 Minnesota Vikings to the playoffs by literally running over the competition.

Peterson finished with 2,097 yards (second most all-time) and 12 touchdowns.
