Beyonce wants to have more children, meaning one of the most anticipated celebrity babies of recent history could be adding the role of big sister to her repertoire. Blue Ivy, the one-year-old daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z, could be expecting a new baby brother or sister one day, according to her mother. In an interview with Good Morning America the 31-year-old singer admitted that she would like to expand her family.
Beyonce says that she is very dedicated to keeping normalcy in the life of her daughter, despite the fame of her parents. She has said that her daughter is her priority and that she wants to give her the best life possible. Beyonce wants to have more children because she says that she enjoys being a big sister and she wants to give that experience to Blue Ivy.
In addition to giving her the experience of sisterhood, Beyonce also seems to want to give her some experience with performing, perhaps to prepare her to follow in her parents’ footsteps. On Friday night Blue Ivy joined her mother onstage during a performance in London on Beyonce’s current world tour. While the one-year-old did get on stage fully equipped with an adorable outfit, she also came outfitted with protective headphones.
However, the famous mom did not give any details on when we can expect the new addition to the Carter-Knowles family. She did, however, emphasize her dedication to protecting her family, saying that “I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life … in the back of my mind, she’s my priority.” Balance is important to Beyonce, who wants to have her career as a strong, independent woman but also wants to enjoy all the joy that motherhood has to offer. So despite her dedication to bringing the world her music and inspiring young girls all over to follow their dreams, she is also fiercely dedicated to being the best mom she can be.
