Kelis, now with a culinary degree brought her food truck to cook, with an aim to promote her new album Food, to SXSW in Austin, Texas.
Kelis decided to showcase her musical and culinary talents to SXSW to promote her upcoming album Food that is expected to be released on April 22nd.
She reportedly served free gourmet meals on Thursday and Friday.
The singer/chef who has her own program on the Cooking Channel had prepared a menu of duck confit sliders, shredded beef with wild cherry BBQ sauce, coleslaw, and jerk ribs in honor of her single.
Sounds delicious indeed!
According to reports she also performed tracks from the album “Food” at several showcases.
There’s no word as if she plans to release a cookbook with the album.
