RuPaul is in trouble after using a transphobic slur on his show, “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
During the show contestants had to play a game called “Female or She-male” which involved determining if they were being shown a picture of “a biological woman or a psychological woman” and involved the drag icon using low-pitched voices to determine if they were female and high-pitched voices to determine if they were “she-male”.
The word clearly is hurtful to trans women as fans took to twitter airing their views that she-male was not an OK word.
I love you @RuPaul, but I am disappointed in your "females and she-males" game on Drag Race. The word she-male is a really offensive slur.
