“Modern Family” actress Sarah Hyland, 23 separated from fellow actor Matthew Prokop, 24 last month in a story which has taken many turns with the actress now filing a restraing oder following allegations of post-separation abuse.
After the breakup Hyland has claimed that Prokop has continued to harass her by sending threatening and emotionally disturbing texts and voicemails which included suicide threats.
Prokop, who moved in with her in 2010, allegedly told her he would set one of her homes on fire and kill her dog, which they adopted together in 2010.
Sarah then went ahead to file a restraining order which saw Prokop ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the actress and her dog, at all times.
The actress also claims her ex abused her both verbally and physically during the last four years of their relationship, choking her on one occassion during an argument.
