Sasha Fierce showed up in full force at last night’s Tidal concert at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. The sexy singer performed with Nicki Minaj.
Beyonce killed the red carpet in a fab aubergine gown with a plunging neckline. Sasha Fierce a.k.a. Beyonce a.k.a “Queen Bey” was caught on tape telling her assistant to “stop it” as the woman helped the infamous singer with her fur. She never missed a beat. The quintessential professional maintained her gorgeous smile while dismissing the woman. The video began to circulate immediately. Of course, everyone has an opinion- including yours truly.
I am sure that Sasha Fierce (I prefer that name over Beyonce) is inundated with people touching, fussing and just being in her damn way all the time. I can imagine that as a woman who knows what she wants and how she wants it- she expects folks, who I’m sure she pays well, to know when she is all set. There IS a such thing as someone catering to you TOO much. I’m sure she was thinking, “Damn! How many times are you going to tug on this fur? I looked in the mirror. The shit is perfect. Kick rocks, Rebecca!” I know “Rebecca” is NOT that woman’s name but so what- it’s funny.
I don’t think Beyonce was rude at all. People are looking for a reason to talk shit. We all know those people who are extra thirsty at work. They bring extra napkins for a 2 oz. latte just to ensure that the boss’ mouth won’t be dirty because they’ll surely wipe it clean. They stay doing the most and you just want to tell them to “chill the fuck out!”
I DO think that when people work closely with celebrities, they need to, intuitively, know what their employer’s limits are. Old girl missed the mark and it was caught on tape. She will live.
