The independent drama ”Behold My Heart” is currently set to star Charlie Plummer and Mirielle Enos, and they have now been joined by Marisa Tomei and Timothy Olyphant.
”Behold My Heart” focuses on Tomei’s character and her son, played by Plummer, in the aftermath of a tragedy. Together they must move forward with their lives and take a step into unchartered territory. Supporting cast include Olyphant as well as David Call, Emily Robinson, Nik Dodandi and Sakina Jaffrey.
Plummer is known for his role on ”Boardwalk Empire” and ”Granite Flats”. He is due to star in Catherine Hardwicke’s ”Stargirl” next year. Tomei began her career in 80’s films such as ”The Flamingo Kid” and ”Playing for Keeps”. More recently she has been seen in films such as ”Crazy, Stupid, Love” and ”The Wrestler”. Olyphant is most widely known for his role in ”Scream 2”. He has since starred in films such as ”Go” and ”Gone in 60 Seconds”. Most recently he has been seen in the TV series ”Justified”. Enos is known for her roles in ”The Killing” and ”World War Z”.
”Behold My Heart” is being produced by Tomei through her company Bella Vida Productions, as well as production team Mary Pat Bentel, David Hansen and Johnny Mac through production company Autumn Productions. Marcus Cox and Karrie Cox will also be producing through Through Films.
The film will be directed by actor and director Joshua Leonard (”Blair Witch Project”, ”Hatchet”, ”Prom Night”) known for directing ”The Lie” and ”Beautiful Losers”. The script comes from Leonard and Rebecca Lowman.
