The 2016 Grammy’s are now here!
The 58th annual music event is only hours away. Many music fanatics have awaited this day for quite some time now and it is finally here. Tonight is the big day.
Some of the artists set to perform are Taylor Swift, The Weekend, Miguel who is doing a tribute the late but great Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Kendrick Lamar, Adele, Lady Gaga (who’s also paying tribute to David Bowie), and many more exciting performances from other talented artists.
I am excited to see what Rih has up her sleeve considering this is her first time performing since she dropped her new album Anti! Let’s hope she puts on a show. Miguel also surely has to bring the heat as he pays homage to the talented Michael Jackson (R.I.P. Michael we love you)!
The past year has been a pretty good year of music for Kendrick Lamar and it definitely shows as he takes the lead in grammy nominees with 11 nominations. Taylor Swift and The Weekend tie with both having seven nominations.
Kendrick Lamar will bless the stage first as he opens up the show setting the tone for the rest of the night.
Way to go Adele for your number one album, and congrats to RiRi for Anti going platinum!! I as well as many other people will be glued to my television waiting to witness the greatness of the many talented artists and nominees.
