The music world is set to get a huge gift next year with the announcement that musical icon Prince is set to debut his memoir through publisher Spiegel & Grau.
The imprint from Random House issued a statement promising to “take readers on an unconventional and poetic journey through his life and creative work — from the family that shaped him and the people, places, and ideas that fired his creative imagination, to the stories behind the music that changed the world.”
The book will chronicle Prince’s childhood all the way through to present day. At 57 years of age, seven Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a slew of other accolades, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member undoubtedly has a slew of stories under his many hats.
