Birdman is getting respek on his name from Jakk Jo, New Orleans rhymer on the come up. Jo remixed Birdman’s now infamous interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club.
But instead of ridiculing the Cash Money leader — like much of the internet did — Jo is giving props to Bryan “Baby” Williams.
Jo gives big ups to Birdman aka Baby by showing that the rhymer is balling — a different tale then the rumors that have been spread about Birdman not paying his artists aka Lil Wayne. “I could buy the mall like I’m Brian Baby Williams,” raps Jo in the track.
Aside from the Birdman track, Jakk Jo has some solid music of his own. In particular, his opener track, “NOLA INTRO” off of his mixtape, Wohday Musik, serves up some dope rhymes. The track was made to “remind listeners that life in New Orleans is far from paradise” with “a raw, gritty soundscape and hardcore rhymes, according to Jo. The mixtape dropped back in January. In that time, he also released five music videos for the aforementioned track, “Lawdddd” and “Drug Lord”
