The two teens killed in this morning’s attack have been identified as 14-year-old Sean Archilles and 18-year-old Ste’fan Strawder. Strawder, a local basketball star heading into his senior year at Lehigh High School, was one of three finalists for The News-Press basketball player of the year.

2 people have been confirmed dead, another 17 injured after the second mass shooting at a club in Florida in just over a month. This time children were targeted, the attack happened at a party promoted as a teen bash. The youngest reported victim is just 12-years-old.
The deadly shooting took place outside of Club Blu Bar & Grill in Ft. Myers, Florida. 911 calls started coming in around 12:30 Monday morning as panicked patrons ran for safety. Those who were shot received injuries ranging from minor wounds to life threatening ones. The injured was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital. The hospital subsequently released a statement saying it had received 16 people ranging in age from 12 to 27.
People of all ages were invited to the Swimsuit Glow Party, the flier prominently boasted “No ID Required.” The club was not the only location shots rang out. After the shooting at the club a nearby home was sprayed with bullets, one person was injured.
This horrific attack comes less than two months after Omar Mateen killed 49 people, wounding over 50 more, at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida on June 12. Police have detained 3 suspects, however have not released their identities or motives.
Club Blu released a statement via Facebook saying in part that the shooting occurred just as the party was ending and parents were arriving to pick up their children.
“We are deeply sorry for all involved,” the post read. “We tried to give teens what we thought was a safe place to have a good time.” Club Blu’s Facebook page reads.
