I know some Christians and Jehovah Witnesses may view Halloween as the Devil’s holiday, but seeing how this is the first Tyler Perry Movie I am excited to see, I wanted to support it. Because if you think about it, October is just a trick or trick theme party event that happens year round and Mabel “Madea” Simmons just makes it that much more fun to celebrate!
Madea is a GOD fearing woman who seeks the Lord’s guidance as she fights the haunting occurrences happening in and around her hometown on Halloween. She uses her street smarts to help her get through this scary time. Despite the way that Madea goes about it, she stands for what’s right and has a nurturing side. “Every Sinner can be a Saint, and every Saint can be a Sinner”
So in short Boo! A Madea Halloween is GOD’s calling because Jesus was a Black man, aka Tyler Perry who hung out with a woman of less than modest values aka Madea, who used the experiences she witnesses, to preach the good news aka Boo! A Madea Halloween out this October 21.
