$3 million dollars worth of jewels have been returned after being stolen from the “Controlla” singer tour bus in Phoenix, Arizona. The jewelry reportedly belongs to DJ Future The Prince, who is on tour with Drake as his official DJ.
The theft, caught on surveillance video, has been attributed to Travion King, 21, who has previously worked occasional jobs for the Talking Stick Resort Arena. Police seeking King, who had been identified from the surveillance footage, found him in the most awkward place. Jail. He had been arrested earlier in the day for trespassing on the grounds of Arizona State University.
Travion King has been charged with burglary at Maricopa County Jail. It is alleged that on Tuesday, between 10 and 10:15 p.m., King managed to sneak onto Drake’s tour bus and make off with a suitcase containing the jewelry.
Drake was in town for the “Summer Sixteen” tour, which he headlines with rapper Future. Rihanna has also joined her man on tour. The two delighted fans, kissing on stage in Miami recently. The tour started in July and includes stops all across the U.S and in Drake’s home country, Canada. The tour heads to South Africa in November.
Good thing this situation was rectified so swiftly. Drizzy has no time for things to go wrong. Not only is the OVO front man headlining this tour but he recently announced that he is opening a club, “The Ballet” in Houston, Texas. “Treat yourself don’t cheat yourself. Where the women are on a pedestal and the surroundings are unforgettable,” Drizzy said on Instagram as he talked about the upcoming club opening.
The Canadian rapper also is opening a pop up shop in Los Angeles at 659 S. La Brea Ave, running from September 7th through Saturday, September 6th. I see a replacement in Drake’s security team in the near future.
