Host Derek Waters and executive producer Jeremy Konner bring viewers the appropriately themed episode “Great Escapes,” for season 4 of “Drunk History” premiering Tuesday, September 27 at 10:30 P.M. ET/PT on Comedy Central®. The 30 min show will feature stories narrated by Steve Berg, Doug Jones and Duncan Trussell about the historical re-telling of how psychologist Timothy Leary (Thomas Lennon) escaped from prison, William Willis’s (Thomas Middleditch) expedition to Devil’s Island to save Bernard Carnot (Derek Waters) & on the way encounters island local Jules (Ron Funches), then recounts of baker Charles Joughin’s (Chris Parnell) inebriated survival from the sinking of the Titanic!
I love this show! And wish I could be on it and for the 1st time in my life I can use alcoholic related term to degrade the people I despise from history, for example in the Comedy Central press release about the show new upcoming season they paraphrase Napoleon Bonaparte, “History is the version of past events that people have agreed upon…and then there’s the version of the inebriated.”
It’s so funny to me because I believe Napoleon to be a tyrant and I refuse to eat his ice cream and hope I can be on the show to slander him and his followers with such terms as rummy, lush, and wino in honorable memory to The Haitian Revolt.
More of Napoleon Bonaparte quotes, “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.” You should know that better than anybody you fat, short, sneaky backstabbing slop. Because you mistakenly thought you were going to succeed with The Louisiana Purchase re-purchase.
“A leader is a dealer in hope.” True, because the Polish Haitians lead their way to The Founding Father’s of Haiti, to whoop your ass in battle.
“Victory belongs to the most persevering.” The Haitian Revolution is the only successful slave revolt and inspired
Gabriel’s Rebellion!
