Marvel released the first Black Panther trailer to the world.
and…Oh. My. God. It’s better than we imagined.
The visual (above) gives us our first into the highly advanced nation, Wakanda, that’s now ruled under T’Challa aka Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). It also gives us our first look at the Dora Milaje as well as Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Letitia Wright as Shuri and Michael B. Jordan as the villain Erik Killmonger. Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead),Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out), Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis and Phylicia Rashad are also set to appear in the film.
Set to Run The Jewels’ “Legend Has It” (a fitting track if we must say), a voice is overheard.
“The world is changing. Soon there will only be the conquered and the conquers. You are a good man, you have a good heart and it’s hard for a good man to be a king.”
Needless to say, Twitter — especially Black Twitter — went bonkers.
