From the funk-soul grooves of “The District” and “Wild”, to the melodic hypnosis of “In the Name of Everyone” and “The Healing”, DC’s own AZTEC SUN is blazing through the DMV and poised to become music’s next big thing. With their unique blend of Funk, Jazz, and R&B the 10-piece ensemble continues to enchant with their versatile songwriting and production skills. Ever since the release of their 2016 debut studio EP Set You Free, AZTEC SUN has come a long way since their modest days as quartet dreaming of stardom. Since late 2012, they have captured the eyes, ears and hearts of live music lovers everywhere, eventually becoming recognized by the Washington City Paper in both 2016 and 2017 by being named Best Local Original Band. With their current album, In The Name Of Everyone, released on November 10, 2018, the band reintroduces its same flavor with a few new ingredients, creating delicacies to die for.

As they celebrate their 5th anniversary, AZTEC SUN continues to intrigue their old fans while gaining new ones with their eclectic brand of timeless, feel good music. Don’t be left out!
