It’s been a popular topic in music and sports as to Drake’s antics towards the Golden State Warrior’s players during the NBA Finals. It has sparked the debate as to what celebrities can or cannot get away with while sitting courtside. So much so, a meeting was held by the Warrior’s higher-ups as to how to deal with the with Toronto’s Jesus.
Just when you thought the beef between Drake and the Golden State Warriors organization could get any nastier, the organization decided to take a not-so-subtle jab at Drizzy.
Black Sports Online’s Robert Littal managed to catch the footage of the Warriors during their pregame warmups rocking out to a little ditty that echoed through the atmosphere of the Oracle Center. The song was “The Story of Adidon,” Pusha T’s cutting diss to Drake from May of last year. A song I’m sure that gave the players motivation to take down the Raptors.
It may not be the last time that the Warriors troll the 6ix rapper, as they have plenty of time and resources to make this pettier than it needs to be. Yet, as a fan of both basketball and hip-hop, toxic beefs for our entertainment will always have a stage in my book.
