A ‘Strip District’ Tale with Sonny ‘Bronx Tale’ Chazz Palminteri

“The only thing that matters is what’s good for you and how you feel about each other.”

Tuesday, October 9th 2019 Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri visited Mancini Bakery in Pittsburgh’s Strip District location, to talk about his hit 1993 film ‘A Bronx Tale’ which is now a phenomenal musical based of his own life story.

The movie and musical will take you to the stoops of the Bronx in the 1960s, where a young man is caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he’d love to be.

Bursting with high-energy dance numbers and original doo-wop tunes from Academy Award® and Tony® Award-winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast) and Tony® Award-nominee Glenn Slater (Love Never Dies), A Bronx Tale is an unforgettable story of loyalty and family.

The New York Times hails A Bronx Tale as “A Critics’ Pick! The kind of tale that makes you laugh and cry.”

Look out for an exclusive interview with Mr. Palminteri’s on WTAE and check out the KDKA clip, but more importantly, make sure you visit Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and get your tickets to see ‘A Bronx Tale’ (Tues, Nov 19th – Sun, Nov 24th)!
