People commemorate special events and immortalizing them by awarding plagues. It has been customary for certain cultures to add a “mark” that someone famous, a special event, and something memorable happened.
Paris took it to another level and evidently, they love them some Kim and Kanye.
Ahead of Paris Fashion Week, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is on a trip to the famous French city and while out and about and making a few stops in the city, they apparently got hungry on their way to Jean-Paul Gautier. So they decided to order themselves a back-home classic in KFC.
Kim shared a video of her and Kanye on a touch screen machine while ordering food at a KFC. As a report goes, the restaurant created a commemorative plaque just a single day later to honor the moment. You’ve read that right, a whole plaque.
The plaque on the ordering kiosk read, “Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ordered at this station.”
According to a Kanye fan page on Instagram, the question lies now if that plaque will actually draw in more customers from being visited by the couple.
However, this isn’t the first time that KFC has done something that spurted discussion from different facets of people on the internet. The restaurant announced that it was going nationwide with its new chicken sandwich featuring glazed donut buns.
Seems like trends are what KFC is catching with its sweet-savory combination. The sandwich will be available in March.
