As we grow older, we sometimes long to revisit those days of childhood once again. As adults, we know that no matter how much we wish to do so, staying young forever isn’t possible, but what if it was?

Nashville’s own Danny G. aims to grant that wish his new hit “Long Live”. Along with Gym Class Heroes front man Travie McCoy, the 22-year-old rising star, melodically expresses the importance of staying young forever, by maintaining a youthful spirit and staying curious about the world. Released on February 27th, the accompanying video demonstrates a youthful spirited eternal summer vibe. Describing his sound as “flow pop”, Danny draws inspiration from pop acts such as Charlie Puth andrappers like Dave East and YBN Cordae. With his vast range, Danny encourages love and authenticity throughout his lyrical content.

Their music video depicts Danny’s approachable essence with its raw footage filmed at Nashville’s Exit/In. It delivers a sense of realness and an inside look of the Danny’s creative process from writing the song to bringing it to life in front of the venue’s massive audience. While Danny remains determined to maintain his curiosity and youthful spirit, regardless of whatever advice he receives, McCoy’s verse also teaches valuable lessons detailing how he had to make himself uncomfortable at times, in order to be where he is now. He also explained how an adventurous spirit is inherent in youthfulness.

A reliable friend, and an overall charming kid next door with a heart of gold, Danny is poised for a huge 2020, living by the motto: We don’t stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing. Keep up with Danny’ s future surprises through all of his social media outlets listed below:
