Bambi’s revenge was served after a night of hunting left a man with half of his face hanging off.
French hunter, Vincent Saubion tried to shoot a dear but hunted him instead and tore off half his face that needed 50 stitches after.
“It actually took half my face off,” Saubion, told on an interview.
The 36-year-old was airlifted to a hospital were surgeons could quickly work to save his face following the grizzly incident. Saubion says he felt drunk from the blood loss and even told his friends that he wanted to continue the hunt, but they realized he was disorientated and in need of immediate help.
“I am grateful because there was more fear than actual harm. I haven’t broken anything and I feel as good as I can be,” he said he would still hunt despite the incident. “I am still crazy about hunting. I am very involved in the community, and have nothing but respect for the game and the owners who let us hunt on their grounds.”
He did not share any details on whether the deer who wounded him survived.
