On March 16, Drake took to Instagram Stories showing his home gymnasium and how it pays tribute to NBA star Kobe Bryant.
The gym is mostly colored in blue and has the logo of his label OVO Sound in the center of the floor. A No. 8 and No. 24 can be seen next to each other on a wall as the camera swings around, which are the numbers that Bryant wore when he played with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Drake also added a caption to the video and seemed to bring up the coronavirus, as well as the call for social distancing to slow down its spread.
“My life for the next however long,” he wrote.
Earlier in the year, following the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, Drake posted a photo of a jacket that he wore at the 2016 NBA All Star Game that honored Bryant since Bryant was retiring that year.
“😤😔🥺 it can’t be,” Drake captioned that post.
Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26 with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant and seven other people in Calabasas, California.
For many years now, Drake has been known to be a big basketball fan, and he’s currently a global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors. He often sits courtside at a lot of Raptors’ games and talks trash to their opponents.
In fact, it was something that Drake was criticized for when he trolled Giannis Antetokounmpo during Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals last year.
Drake laughed when Antetokounmpo missed free throws during those games and celebrated from his seat.
As for his isolation these days to do his part toward reducing the number of coronavirus outbreaks, Drake will have anything but a shabby spot in which to do that.
From the views, you could see a hallway that seems to go on forever, plus amassive bar and swimming pool that both look like they belong in a swankyhotel.
There appear to be several large rooms with all kinds of pricey-looking furniture in them. Not bad at all for a place to lock yourself away in indefinitely.
