Three Minneapolis police officers are now seen in a new video posted on social media kneeling on George Floyd during his arrest.
Charged today with third-degree murder, former officer Derek Chauvin, is seen in the initial viral video kneeling on Floyd’s neck. However, the new video captured from another angle, shows the other side of the Minneapolis police vehicle where Floyd’s arrest is taking place.
Along with two other officers, the video appears to show Chauvin kneeling on Floyd, pinning him down.
Following today’s announcement by the Hennepin County attorney regarding Chauvin’s arrest, it’s now on everyone’s mind whether the other officers will also be charged in Floyd’s death and how this new evidence will be considered.
All four officers involved in the incident have been fired from the Minneapolis Police Department, but for those demanding justice in George Floyd’s name, that is simply not enough.
