Blac Chyna is now calling out NBC just one day after Gabrielle Union filed a discrimination complaint against the network.
After Chyna claims she was never made aware of allegations made against her by the Kardashian Family, the model and reality star is accusing NBC of racism. This ended her reality show “Rob & Chyna” on E!
Back in 2017, Chyna sued the entire Kardashian family claiming they inhibited with her reality show by urging producers and the network to cancel it.
Lynne Ciani, Chyna’s attorney, released a statement t where they claim that Chyna was “completely denied” any due process by the network to their “black reality TV star.”
She also claims that either the allegations would have never been made or the situation would have been handled differently if she were a white actress. E! is owned by the NBCUniversal Television.
“No one at NBCUniversal ever informed Chyna that Kris Jenner had secretly accused her of severely beating Rob. Next, without Chyna’s knowledge, Kris Jenner and three of her daughters (Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner) were able to convince E! executives that they needed to convene an emergency meeting to discuss the cancellation of Season 2 of ‘Rob & Chyna’ based on the false accusation that Chyna had severely beaten Rob,” Chyna’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani said.
She went on to say, “NBCUniversal executives never invited Chyna, the allegedly violent cast member (and also an Executive Producer of ‘Rob & Chyna’), to the emergency meeting.”
Chyna’s legal team also notes that if anyone from the network actually watched footage shot from Season 2 of the reality show, they would have seen it confirms she did not put hands on her ex-fiancé, Rob Kardashian.
Her lawyer said in a new statement that NBC Executives “never viewed the existing unaired Season 2 footage … that conclusively proves that Kris Jenner lied when she claimed that Chyna had ‘beat the —- out of Rob’s face,’” The Blast quotes.
Her team adds, “had Chyna been a white reality TV star, rather than the ‘unicorn’ black reality TV star — either (Jenner) never would have been made in the first place or her false accusation would have been quickly investigated by E! and NBCUniversal and proven false.”
This all comes as the network faces a discrimination complaint by Gabrielle Union.
