The book was written by a famous psychic named  Sylvia Browne in 2008. She had predicted 12 years ago that around 2020, a respiratory illness will spread throughout the world that will be difficult to treat. She also predicted that the disease would come back in the year 2030, after which it will vanish forever.

The tweet created a storm on social media, where many of her followers asked her if the extract was real. The post followed the news of actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson testing positive for the Covid-19 virus. The book immediately rose to the top-selling list on Amazon. The publishers had to reprint several thousand copies of it.

She became aware of her psychic abilities at the age of 5. But Browne was very scared of her powers and did not start to use them publicly until 1964. Even though she was beloved by a lot of people, many also criticized her abilities to be self-claimed. She was proven wrong a few times, which included her prediction of Amanda Berry’s death. When Amanda Berry got rescued with her daughter and two other captives, Browne said that she was thankful to God that she was mistaken. She also remarked that only God can be correct always. Sylvia Browne died on November 20th, 2013 in San Jose, California.
