We’re sending our condolences to Deshayla Harris’s family, who was a cast member on Season 17 of “The Bad Girls Club.”
DeShayla was one of the victims of multiple shootings in Virginia Beach on Friday, according to TMZ. According to the website, Virginia Beach Police have named Deshayla as one of the two people who died as a result of three separate shootings. According to reports, the shootings were unrelated. The three killings, however, occurred within a brief period of time of one another. Deshayla sadly died at the scene, according to authorities.
Deshayla was a bystander during the second shooting, and she was struck by a stray bullet, according to police. Authorities held their stance that this was not a mass shooting. Gunshots were heard along the beachfront from feuding parties, according to witnesses.
As a result of the attack, approximately eight other people were wounded. In connection with one of the shootings, police were able to arrest three suspects. Ahmon Adams, Nyquez Baker, and Devon Dorsey Jr. were all arrested and face several charges. However, authorities believe that those individuals are unrelated to the shooting that took Deshayla’s life.
It is currently uncertain whether a suspect in the shooting that claimed Deshayla’s life has been apprehended. Kiyanna Monae, Deshayla’s castmate, said of her death, “You didn’t deserve this at all, I can’t believe this is even real Shay.” Take her into your arms, God, and hold her tight.”
