Terry Presume, a multi-talented artist, has released a new video for his latest single, “ZaZa And Some Runtz.” For the surreal new effort, the Nashville-based singer travels to Los Angeles on the other side of the world. It also depicts Presume’s perception of the universe as he’s floating above the clouds, thanks to the assistance of evergreen material.
With the latest single and video, directed by Spencer Ford, who has also worked with Brockhampton, Jawny, and St. Felix, Presume, who is also a rapper and a producer, demonstrates his versatility and ability to master a variety of songs.
Presume started playing music as a child in his single mother’s home in Naples, Florida. There, the singer listened to music by 50 Cent, Eminem, and a number of classic R&B artists. He started writing poetry at the age of eight, and three years later, he taught himself how to compose and create music.
After releasing “Did Me Wrong” last month, he returns with “ZaZa And Some Runtz.” In the April release, he mopes through the city streets while reflecting on the state of his current life, reminiscing on a past lover.
“I can see you wanted more, the words appear on your face,” he raps. “I’m always up, you always down now we in two different states.”
