Big Sean has stepped up his efforts for mental health awareness in recent years. The Detroit native has dealt with his own problems, which he revealed shortly after the release of his album Detroit 2 in 2020. Sean brought up the subject again during a recent interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, more than eight months later.
Sean discussed why it is crucial to teach the youth about mental health awareness during the conversation, which is part of the Apple Music host’s series The Message. Sean stated, “It really needs to be just like how they teach us about STDs and sex in health class.” “They need to make sure they teach us how to deal with anxiety, how to breathe properly, and all of that,” says the student. Because everything is interrelated, it should all be in one place. It’s not like the head is isolated from the rest of the body; it’s all connected.”
In terms of music, Sean recently teamed up with Sada Baby and Hit-Boy in the video for their new song, “Little While,” to throw a mansion party.
