Eric Cartman from South Park has a distinct way of speaking, and his voice has been widely imitated since the program first aired in 1997. It’s simple to perform a Cartman impression, but it’s more difficult to do well. However, it turns out that artist Fernando Ufret can make a good impression, as evidenced by a video of him playing Linkin Park’s “In The End” as Cartman. The video has gone viral on TikTok, and Linkin Park has been a trending topic on Twitter today.

He reacted to the immediate attention his cover has brought him, tweeting this morning, “I just started a TikTok 2 days ago, and some of the posts are going insanely viral! Thank you, guys!”

Ufret only recently posted his first TikTok video, but his account already has over 33,000 followers. Covers of Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory’s “Pure Imagination” and Green Day’s “Good Riddance” are among the other Cartman impressions on his page.

For the record, Ufret is capable of much more than a Cartman impersonation. He’s a gifted singer with a raspy tone to his voice (in which you can actually hear a bit of his Cartman). Here’s a video from earlier this year in which he performs a cover of Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These.”
