Taylor Swift has had a fantastic year in 2021. Not only did Tay’s second 2020 album, Evermore, shatter an all-time vinyl sales record, but it also returned to No. 1 on the Billboard chart, making her the artist with the third-most weeks at the top in history. For the first half of the year, not bad! Tonight, she won yet another award, this time for her re-recording of Fearless, when the new music video she prepared for “The Best Day” (that would be Taylor’s Version) won the CMT prize for Best Family Feature.
Taylor expressed her joy for the news on Twitter, thanking her mother, Andrea, in all caps. She wrote, “I LOVE YOU MOM,” alongside a small video clip of the song receiving the award. Taylor and her mother have always been close, but their bond was put on display for fans in a new light after Andrea was diagnosed with cancer. In one of her album’s songs, she says:
