Jeff Goldblum is a fantastic actor. Nobody can say anything terrible about him, and he’s also one of the best characters in the classic film Jurassic Park. His portrayal of Ian Malcolm is outstanding, and the character continues to be quoted to this day.
Goldblum’s performance in that role made him the ideal choice to unveil the new Jurassic Park game at Summer Games Fest. Goldblum was invited to the event to engage in some lighthearted banter with host Geoff Keighley. Following the banter, Goldblum began talking about how everyone should be prepared for pandemonium. Of course, this is a reference to Malcolm! The trailer for Jurassic World Evolution 2 was then shown, which was narrated by Goldblum.
Jurassic World Evolution is a terrific Rollercoaster Tycoon-style game that allows users to create their own Jurassic Park. Everyone is basically practicing the exact opposite of the lesson we learned from Jurassic Park, but hey, it’s Jurassic Park. Why wouldn’t we want to create our own dinosaur-themed amusement park?
The trailer itself was mainly cinematic, not showing us any gameplay sadly, but there’s still plenty of reason to be excited about this Jurassic World follow-up. Fans of the movies, in particular, should really look into getting this if they haven’t already played the first one.
