Patrick Mahomes and his fiancée Brittany Matthews debuted their little daughter on social media for the first time.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl-winning quarterback and MVP presented 3-month-old Sterling to his 4.5 million Instagram followers in a couple of images.
On her Instagram profile, Matthews wrote, “Hello, my name is Sterling,” while Mahomes just responded, “Hello World!”
Matthews announced on Instagram in February that she and Mahomes had decided to hold off on sharing images of their child until “we [feel] the moment is perfect.”
“I know the Internet will instantly take the photos of her and share everywhere so just preparing myself for my newborn baby girl to be shared with the world,” Matthews continued. “Right now we are just soaking in every minute with her.”
Matthews is a personal trainer who started dating Mahomes in high school. When Mahomes got down on one knee on the Chiefs’ playing field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, they were engaged in September 2020.
According to Matthews, the power couple intends to marry in 2022.
