Parenthood is one of life’s most thrilling experiences, but when that joy is shattered by the physicians’ incompetence in the delivery room of your newborn baby girl, an explanation is required. When their newborn baby girl’s face was cut during a botched emergency C-section, a Colorado couple was distraught, and they are now pursuing legal action. According to accounts, Colorado couple, Reazjhana and Damarqus Williams were pleased with anticipation for the arrival of their daughter, which was originally planned to be via natural childbirth—but an emergency C-section swiftly transformed their pleasure into a horror.
Doctors told Reazjhana that they couldn’t find a heartbeat while she was in labor with her daughter Kyanni Williams at Denver Health, so she needed an emergency C-section, which severely damaged the newborn’s face. Kyanni was left with a terrible cut across her face as a result of the botched C-section, which necessitated 13 stitches. Damarqus revealed what happened in the delivery room, according to him., “They said our baby made a sudden movement, they couldn’t hear her heartbeat or find it and they took her into an immediate C-section. They said her face was close to the placenta wall.”
In addition, the Willams family has established a GoFundMe campaign to seek funds to engage legal counsel in order to pursue legal action against the doctors and the hospital. Kyanni’s grandfather, Walter Williams, addressed to local media sources on how painful the situation was for his family.“To have your granddaughter born to come out to see the plastic surgeon, to get 13 stitches, is devastating, it’s heartbreaking. I’ve never heard of anybody having to deal with their baby’s face looking like this after a C-section,” he said.
Tashaira Williams, who is the newborn’s grandmother, says the doctors “have to be held accountable for what they did” to the little girl.As of now, representatives from Denver Health have not publicly commented on what happened to Kyanni Williams.
