Progress is one of the many things we enjoy seeing. Tommie Lee of “Love & Hip-Hop” celebrated her new and improved life as she marked two years after she was released from prison or drama!
Late Sunday night, the reality star updated her Instagram story with a video to give fans an update on her journey. She claimed that she has been in and out of jail since she was 14, but that she hasn’t been in any drama or trouble in the last two years!
Her most recent arrest was in 2019, when she was charged with multiple counts of child abuse. Tommie Lee was accused of visiting to her young daughter’s middle school and hitting her with her purse strap on the hands. According to TMZ, she also hit her in the face, pulled her down the corridor by her hair, and put her into a metal locker. She had been in and out of jail (and back again) several times in the previous couple of years, all while appearing on “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta,” according to TMZ.
She’s been working hard since her return to focus on bettering her life and improving her relationship with her family. She had earlier promised to do better, and it appears that she is finally keeping her word.
