Call of Duty: Warzone is one of those games where the element of surprise can give you the upper hand in a battle. A death can result in the completion of an entire run and a return to the main menu. If someone gains an advantage over you and fires a few cheap shots, it might be the difference between winning and losing a combat.
That’s why the current Call of Duty: Warzone bug is particularly concerning. While we expect a game like this to have a lot of bugs because there are over 100 players all crammed onto one large map, there are some issues that can completely derail the experience. There appear to be red doors that, if players follow a complex chain of events, can render them invisible. This is starting to gain traction among players, and the videos are just breathtaking. It reminds me of a poor magic performance.
Nothing is more aggravating in a multiplayer shooter than not being able to see where you’re being shot from, and when that player was, in fact, standing right in front of them the entire time, it only adds to the aggravation. However, it poses an intriguing question. Shouldn’t Raven Software be allowed to ban users that use this glitch because of how difficult it is to trigger it? For persistent cheating, they recently had a massive ban of over 50,000 people. Is this something that fits within that category?
It could, however it depends on how serious the situation is for the folks who are abusing the flaw. One of the most serious problems with Warzone right now is that users are actively trying to cheat by using programs like aimbots. Since the game’s introduction, cheaters have been an issue, and they’re getting more inventive.
Warzone isn’t always a fun game to play right now, thanks to gamers who cheat on purpose and others who take advantage of a bug. That’s a shame, because it’s one of the better battle royale games available.
