Her career spans decades, and she has been in shows such as “The Jeffersons,” “227,” and a slew of other classics. Marla’s star was the 2,698th on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, according to the New York Daily News, and July 20th was declared “Marla Gibbs Day” in Hollywood. “Marla is one of the world’s most beloved and accomplished actresses known around the world,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said.
