Pop Smoke’s team gathered a little over a year after the world heard his posthumous debut album, Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, to release Faith. Kanye West, Pusha T, Rick Ross, The-Dream, 42 Dugg, 21 Savage, Dua Lipa, and others appear on the album, which was released earlier this month. Faith became the late musician’s second No. 1 album just a week and a half after its release.
The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart on July 31. Faith was able to do this by selling 88,000 total album copies, 83,000 of which were streaming equivalent album units, thanks to nearly 113 million on-demand plays of the album’s tracks. The album’s first week sales were boosted by 4,000 copies from pure album purchases. Faith joins Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon as Pop Smoke’s No. 1 project, and it’s his third album to chart in the top ten of the Billboard 200.
Faith’s debut at the top of the album rankings comes just days after the publication of a deluxe edition of the record. The album now has four songs with guest performances from G Herbo, OnPointLikeOP, Killa, Dread Woo, and Travi.
